Absolutely ridiculous.

Either the perceived inbreeding of the elite has proven true or our agents are severely lacking creativity. Likely both, given the severe lack of diversity in hunting grounds for this latest batch of candidates. Now, of course I knew going in that I would have the most unorthodox choice of the lot, despite admittedly playing fully into the nepotistic tradition of our institution, though I had hoped that our urgent needs would force the others to at least look beyond the big five.

Somehow, they did even worse than before.

Three Cambridge graduates, two Oxford. Both Badminton twins, which leads me to question whether Arthur and Bedivere have taken issue with me personally. I'd be willing to bet that Arthur made his choice as a way to keep me in check, while Bedivere made his to simply suck up to Arthur, gain Brownie points or something of the sort. Though I may be physically in a better position to fend them off now, I fear they'll still find ways to make my day-to-day hellish.

I'm already exhausted just thinking about it.

Arthur is hopeful that we'll at least have Lancelot, Gawain and Percival's positions filled after the training period, though if somehow there are more candidates capable of withstanding the rigours of it, we will bestow new codenames upon them. We all came to agree upon Caradoc, Mordred and Kay. I have my own choices for Nigel and Chauncey if they somehow manage to survive, but I sincerely doubt I'll have opportunity to use them.

I have my fingers crossed for a triple-layered success for myself.
